What’s in this product?
✅ Rhodiola rosea is a fragrant root, that is also known as roseroot. This root has been used throughout history in Iceland, Sweden, France, Russia, and Greece. Rhodiola rosea started to appear in scientific literature as early as 1725. Popular with the Vikings to enhance mental and physical endurance, this revered adaptogen was included in the first Swedish Pharmacopeia. The Rhodiola Rosea in this product was certified organic from Alaska and was extracted using a dual-approach of ethanol and supercritical CO2 extraction in our facility.
✅ Chaga (inonotus obliquus) is a powerful fungus that is found on birch and other trees. The sterile conk is irregularly formed and resembles burnt charcoal. It is not the fruiting body of the fungus, but a sclerotium or mass of mycelium, mostly black because of a great amount of melanin. The Chaga mushroom in this product was wild harvested in Alaska and was extracted in our facility using a dual-approach of ethanol and supercritical CO2 extraction.
✅ Echinacea is a member of the compositae (daisy) family, and is sometimes referred to as Purple Coneflower. This flower was popularized by European research commencing in 1939 conducted primarily on the fresh pressed aerial portions of the flowering plant. Echinacea purpurea is scarce in the wild but is considered native to Arkansas and Missouri and traveled eastward after 1968. It is drought and disease tolerant and therefore very easy to cultivate. All Echinacea purpurea currently used in commercial preparations is cultivated. The Echinacea in this product was sourced from a certified organic USA source and was extracted in our facility using ethanol extraction.
✅ Ashwagandha (withania somnifera), is a small perennial shrub. Its roots are harvested in winter from parts of the Middle East, India, western China and even parts of Africa. Ashwagandha belongs to the solanaceae family, along with other plants like Goji berry and Datura, and common foods like tomatoes and potatoes. Ashwagandha is also an adaptogen, and has a long and varied history of use. The use of Ashwagandha root has been documented as early as 600 A.D. The Ashwagandha in this product was sourced from a certified organic USA source and was extracted in our facility using ethanol extraction.
✅ The hemp in this product was raised organically on our farm at P.H.A.R.M. and processed in our facility using supercritical CO2 extraction.
